‘Namma Oota’ Brings Joy to Children at Sneha Special School
Anjuman College, NSS, and partners host compassionate meal program for students.

Bhatkal: Children at the Sneha Special School and Training Centre enjoyed a special ‘Namma Oota’ (Our Meal) event on Wednesday.
The program was a joint effort by Anjuman Arts, Science and Commerce College, the Uttara Kannada NSS Unit, and Sahil Online Media.
According to the organizers, the event’s goal was to promote a spirit of humanity, compassion, and social service. Volunteers and staff served the meal with great care, creating a cheerful and happy atmosphere for the children.
The program was coordinated by Professor Mohammed Yusuf Kola, Principal of Anjuman College, and Mubashir Hussain Hallare, General Secretary of the Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation.
“Helping underprivileged and special children is a noble human duty,” said Professor Kola. He added that “such initiatives help strengthen the values of kindness and empathy in society.”
Mr. Hallare noted that this was the third ‘Namma Oota’ event. He explained that the program aims to spread happiness among children while promoting a spirit of service and goodwill.
Many other faculty members and NSS volunteers also took part, including NSS Officer Damor Naik, Professor B.H. Nadaf, Manjunath Prabhu, Umesh Mesta, K. Kalimulla, Mrs. Purnima, and Mrs. Famina Fatima.
At the end of the event, the organizers expressed their gratitude to all the individuals and groups who contributed to its success, especially those who helped arrange the food.
