AZAD NAGAR – The Shabina Maktab of Masjid-e-Tooba successfully organized its annual cricket tournament, bringing together 154 children from across the community. The event, created as a positive activity for students during their vacation, saw enthusiastic participation from 14 teams representing various local mosques.

The tournament began on Sunday, October 5th, following the Asr prayer. Maulana Abdul Haseeb Muna Nadvi, the Imam of Masjid-e-Tooba and Head Teacher at Maktab Jamia Islamia Chowk Bazar, officially opened the event. In his opening remarks, he encouraged the young players to compete with sportsmanship and love, and he advised them to remain connected with their local mosques and educational centers.

After several days of exciting matches, the tournament concluded on Thursday, October 9th. The final match was a thrilling contest between the teams from Masjid-e-Abdul Aziz and Masjid-e-Ali Miyan. After a hard-fought game, Masjid-e-Ali Miyan emerged as the champions, securing the winner’s trophy.

A closing ceremony was held where officials from Masjid-e-Tooba distributed prizes to the winning team and recognized individual players for their outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
