Man Killed in Road Accident Near Bhatkal Bypass
50-year-old man from Purvarga killed after being hit by bus while on his way to Bhatkal
Bhatkal (Fikrokhabar News): A tragic road accident near the Bhatkal bypass claimed the life of a 50-year-old man early this morning. The deceased has been identified as Sundar Achari, a resident of Purvarga.
According to reports, the accident occurred while Mr. Achari was traveling from Purvarga towards Bhatkal on his two-wheeler. A bus allegedly struck him from behind, causing him to fall off the vehicle. Tragically, one of the bus’s rear wheels ran over him, resulting in his death on the spot.
Bhatkal Circle Police Inspector Diwakar, along with his team, arrived at the scene and carried out the necessary investigation and procedures.
The body was later handed over to the family after a post-mortem examination.
Sources say that the deceased is survived by his wife, one daughter, and two sons, both of whom are employed in Bengaluru.
A case has been registered at the Bhatkal Town Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
