Majlis Islah Wa Tanzeem Bhatkal Urges Public to Cooperate with Statewide Socio-Economic Survey

Bhatkal: The Government of Karnataka has announced a comprehensive statewide Social, Economic, and Educational Survey, set to be conducted by the Karnataka State Commission for Backward Classes. This major initiative aims to gather crucial data from all residents across the state.

As a preliminary step, the Hubli Electricity Supply Company Limited (HESCOM) has commenced the first phase of the project, which involves creating a detailed “House Listing.” As part of this process, local HESCOM personnel are visiting homes to affix stickers, each containing a unique ID for the household.

Following this initial listing phase, survey teams will visit each registered home to collect the necessary information.

In a notice issued to the public, citizens are requested to fully cooperate with the authorities to ensure the survey’s success. Residents are urged to allow HESCOM staff to place the ID stickers on their homes and to refrain from removing them. Furthermore, the public is asked to provide accurate and truthful information to the surveyors who will visit at a later date.

According to the information provided, the door-to-door survey activities are scheduled to begin on September 22, 2025. Further instructions and necessary information regarding the survey will be communicated to the public in the coming days.
