Organization steps in to help graduates enroll before December 10 deadline
BHATKAL — The Majlis-e-Islah Wa Tanzeem Bhatkal has announced special arrangements to assist graduates in registering for the upcoming Legislative Council elections, following the extension of the enrollment deadline.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, the organization said it has set up a facilitation center at its office to help eligible graduates complete their voter registration applications before the new deadline of December 10, 2025.
The initiative comes after election officials extended the registration period, which originally closed on November 6, 2025. The new enrollment window, running from November 25 to December 10, offers a second opportunity for graduates who missed the initial deadline.
“We want to ensure that all eligible graduates in Bhatkal exercise their democratic right to vote in the Legislative Council elections,” a spokesperson for the organization stated in the release.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for registration, applicants must have obtained their graduation certificate from a recognized university before November 1, 2022. Both male and female graduates who meet this criterion are encouraged to apply.
Documents Required
The Majlis-e-Islah Wa Tanzeem has outlined the following documents needed for registration:
- Graduation certificate from a recognized university (issued before November 1, 2022)
- Aadhaar Card
- Voter ID Card
- One recent passport-size photograph
Important: All photocopies must be attested by a Gazetted Officer before submission.
