Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Appeals for Public Support in Karnataka’s Socio-Economic and Educational Survey
Bhatkal (Fikrokhabar News): Following a recent decision by the Government of Karnataka, the Karnataka State Backward Classes Commission has launched a statewide socio-economic and educational survey to assess the current status of the people across the state. This data will play a crucial role in future policymaking and developmental planning.
As part of the initial phase, the Electricity Department (HESCOM) has started the house listing process, during which local staff are visiting homes to paste stickers containing a Unique Household ID. This ID will be used during the main survey.

In a statement issued by Maulana Abdul Raqeeb M.J., General Secretary of Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem, Bhatkal, the public is strongly urged to cooperate with the HESCOM staff by:
- Allowing them to paste the official sticker on their house walls
- Not removing or tampering with these stickers
- Providing accurate and complete information to survey officials during their visit
He further informed that according to the information received, the main survey will begin on September 22, 2025. Prior to this, detailed instructions and guidance will be issued by the organization to help the community prepare for the survey process.
