Madgaon-Ernakulam Superfast Express Begins New Stop at Mookambika Road Railway Station in Byndoor

Byndoor, September 1, 2025: To improve accessibility, the Madgaon-Ernakulam Superfast Express has been authorized to stop at Mookambika Road Railway Station in Byndoor. The train runs between Madgaon in Goa and Ernakulam in Kerala.

The train made its first stop at Mookambika Road Railway Station on August 31, 2025. Members of the Byndoor Rickshaw and Taxi Union, along with railway officials including Udupi Commercial Supervisor S. K. Bhat and Surendra Kumar, welcomed the train.

Railway authorities said this new stop will offer greater convenience for travelers and local residents by expanding travel options.
