In a spiritually significant moment for Muslims around the world, the Khatam al-Quran dua, the special supplication marking the completion of the Holy Quran, will be performed tonight, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at both Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah.
At Masjid al-Haram, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President and Chief Imam of the Grand Mosque, will lead the completion prayer. This marks his 36th consecutive year leading the Khatam al-Quran dua at Masjid al-Haram, a remarkable achievement reflecting decades of devoted service to the Quran and to the millions of worshippers who gather there each Ramadan.
At Masjid an-Nabawi, Sheikh Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair will lead the Khatam al-Quran dua at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah on the same blessed night.
