The system was officially launched at KC General Hospital in Bengaluru. Speaking at the event, the minister said that adopting such modern technology would help bring government supported healthcare services closer in quality to private hospitals.

According to an official statement, the system has been introduced by NephroPlus, a well known dialysis service provider. It enables real time monitoring of key health indicators during dialysis, including blood pressure, fluid removal, and electrolyte balance, helping doctors improve treatment outcomes.

In the initial phase, the system has been implemented in seven dialysis centres. It tracks 28 critical parameters, covering areas such as patient care, safety, bed availability, staff performance, emergency preparedness, infection control, and hygiene.

Officials said the technology replaces traditional audit methods with continuous monitoring, improving transparency and operational efficiency. It also allows healthcare staff and administrators to make faster and more informed decisions based on real time data.

During the event, NephroPlus CEO Rohit Singh highlighted the importance of constant monitoring for dialysis patients, adding that AI driven systems can make treatment safer and more reliable.

A live demonstration of the new dashboard was also presented, showcasing how dialysis procedures can be tracked in real time.
