Jordan Strongly Rejects Israeli PM Netanyahu’s Greater Israel Vision Statements

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has publicly condemned recent statements by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the Greater Israel vision. The ministry called these remarks a serious provocation that threatens the sovereignty of nations and violates international law, including the United Nations Charter.
Sufyan Qudah, the official spokesperson for Jordan’s Foreign Ministry, emphasized the country’s firm rejection of Netanyahu’s statements. He affirmed that such ideas are baseless and will not affect Jordan or Arab nations, nor undermine the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
Qudah pointed out that these provocative statements come at a time when the Israeli government faces international isolation due to ongoing military actions in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. He warned that these extremist positions only fuel cycles of violence and instability in the region.
The spokesperson urged the global community to take a strong and immediate stance against such inflammatory rhetoric and hold those responsible accountable. He called on international actors to work together to halt any Israeli actions or statements that risk peace and security in the Middle East.
This position underscores Jordan’s commitment to supporting Palestinian rights and maintaining regional stability in the face of escalating tensions.
