Jashn-e-Pannas: BMJD Celebrates in Bhatkal, Fikrokhabar Presents Documentary on Fifty Years of Dedicated Service

Bhatkal (Fikrokhabar News) – To mark the completion of fifty years of service by the Bhatkal Muslim Jamat Dubai (BMJD), a series of programs are being organized. One such event took place on Monday after Isha prayers at Hasan Hall, Rabita Society, Bhatkal, where a meeting was held with the presence of Qazis, scholars, heads of various institutions, and dignitaries.
At the event, a detailed documentary prepared by the Fikrokhabar team was presented under the convenership of the renowned poet Mr. Rahmatullah Rahi. The documentary, which highlighted the Jam’at’s educational, social, and multifaceted contributions, was highly appreciated by the audience who expressed heartfelt prayers for the organization’s continued success. It covered the various branches of the Jam’at’s services, recalling its founders and benefactors, aiming to comprehensively portray the institution’s achievements over five decades.
Khalifa Jamat-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal, Maulana Khwaja Moeenuddin Nadvi Madani, emphasized the importance of fulfilling the trust of the predecessors. He stated that these institutions are legacies left by the forefathers, and only by sincerely and correctly working for them can their rights be honored; otherwise, we may be deemed unfaithful before God’s court.
During the occasion, a book titled “Dr. Syed Khalil Rahman SM: Misali Qaid, Mukhlis Rehnuma” was released, paying tribute to the life and services of the Community leader late Syed Khalil Rahman CA.
Qazi of Jamat-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal, Maulana Abdur Rabb Khateebi Nadvi, praised BMJD’s long-standing contributions and urged every individual to engage in deeds benefiting the community, ensuring continued rewards even after death. He stressed the importance of religious upbringing alongside academic success, reminding that merely becoming a doctor or engineer is insufficient without a strong foundation in faith, which is our collective responsibility to maintain enduring generations committed to religion.
Various dignitaries, including community leaders and scholars, expressed their thoughts during the program.
Renowned journalist Mr. Aftab Kola lauded BMJD’s commendable work over the past fifty years and emphasized the need to engage the younger generation in more effective, organized, and long-term planning. He highlighted the necessity for the Jam’at to develop a clear vision and comprehensive strategy up to the year 2040, ensuring the institution’s services continue to evolve and expand in future decades.
A memorable moment of the session was the poetry recital by the celebrated poet Najm -e- Hasan Pratapgarhi, whose soulful and meaningful verses captivated and energized the audience.
The event witnessed a massive turnout from the city’s officials, religious scholars, prominent figures, and the general public, making the celebration a grand success.
