Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Hosts Seerat Campaign in Shiroor

As part of its statewide initiative, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Karnataka, organized a series of Seerat campaign programs in Shiroor, near Bhatkal. The campaign, which is being held across the state with great enthusiasm, focuses on highlighting the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The opening session in Shiroor took place on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal at Noorani Masjid after Asr prayers, where Nazir Ahmed Qazi introduced the campaign and called on the community to actively participate. A Seerat book was also released during the event.
Dedicated programs for women were also held, with Rashkanda addressing the gathering. In addition, Faiz-ul-Islam Masjid and Salman Masjid, Kaiserkodi, hosted evening sessions after Maghrib and Isha prayers, where Kannada-language Seerat books were unveiled to reach a broader audience.
A key highlight of the campaign was the distribution of Seerat literature to individuals, schools, and government offices. The books were received with respect, and many community members pledged to continue supporting their distribution.
Although small in number, the Shiroor unit was praised for its sincere efforts. Notable contributions came from Abdul Hameed Sheikh, Nasir Gangavalli, and Abdul Rahman, while local leaders including Maulana Ismail Imam of Faiz-ul-Islam Masjid, Moulvi Javed Nadwi, Imam of Salman Masjid, and Maulana Abdul Aleem Abdal Nadwi offered strong support, alongside the unit’s president and secretary.
The campaign concluded with prayers for its success, asking for divine blessings to spread guidance and inspire collective work in promoting the Seerat of the Prophet ﷺ.
