Israel Strikes Houthi Targets in Yemen’s Capital Sanaa

Israeli airstrikes hit the Yemeni capital Sanaa on Wednesday, targeting sites linked to Houthi forces, according to reports by Reuters, AFP, and Houthi-run Al Masirah TV.
Al Masirah TV described the attack as “Israeli aggression on the capital Sanaa” but provided no immediate details. Local media said strikes hit the Ardi neighbourhood in central Sanaa, where the Houthi-controlled Ministry of Defense building is located.
The Israeli military later confirmed the operation, saying its air force carried out strikes against “military targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist regime” in both Sanaa and the northern province of Al-Jawf. A statement noted that the attacks hit military camps, the Houthis’ military public relations headquarters, and a fuel storage facility.
AFP journalists on the ground reported that a Houthi armed forces building was among the locations struck in Sanaa.
This latest strike comes a day after Israel targeted Hamas leadership in Doha, Qatar, escalating tensions across the region.
