Islamic Anglo Urdu High School Bhatkal Athletes Excel, Progress to District-Level Sports

Students of Islamic Anglo Urdu High School (IAUHS), a prominent institution run by Anjuman Hami Muslimeen in Bhatkal, have once again made their mark in school sports. The school recently celebrated outstanding performances at zonal and taluk-level competitions, with many participants now qualifying for various district-level athletic events.
General Secretary of Anjuman Hami Muslimeen, Mr. Ishaq Shah Bandri, delivered a congratulatory address, encouraging students to nurture self-confidence and put in even greater efforts as they advance to the next round. He praised both the athletes and their physical instructor, Rajee Saheb Nipani, for their hard work and commitment.
Several school leaders and teachers, including Additional General Secretary Mr. Ismail Jokaku, High School Board Secretary Mr. Saadullah Ruknuddin, and headmaster Mr. Noor Muhammad, were present at the gathering to honor and support the students.
The following students stood out with notable accomplishments:
- Faheem S/O Ilyas Kittur – secured first place in both hammer throw and shot put.
- Asif S/O Zaheer Ahmed – achieved first place in pole vault and third in triple jump.
- Muhammad Nabhan S/O Abdul Majid – took first place in discus throw.
- Dawood Qazi S/O Mujeeb Qazi – earned first place in triple jump and second place in hammer throw.
- Abdullah S/O Muhammad Khalid Beirure – finished second in pole vault.
- In the primary category, Nishwan S/O Numan won third place in discus throw.
Team achievements were equally impressive. The school’s kabaddi team took first place, while the throwball team finished in second position, ensuring IAUHS’s strong representation at the district level.
Highlighting the school’s diverse sports talent, Muhammad Atif Ibn Abdul Sattar Qazi was earlier selected for the state-level karate championship, a proud accomplishment that demonstrates the range of sporting skills among IAUHS students.
The management of IAUHS and the Anjuman organization extended best wishes to all students advancing to the district stage, hoping for their continued success at both district and state levels.
