Islamia Anglo Urdu High School Students Advance to State-Level Sports Competition
Top athletes praised by school leadership for outstanding performance at district-level events.

Students from Islamia Anglo Urdu (IAU) High School have achieved significant success in district-level sports, securing their selection for the upcoming state-level competitions. This accomplishment follows their earlier victories at the taluk-level events.
The students’ strong performance earned praise from school and Mr. Ishaq Shabandri, General Secretary of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Bhatkal, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the students, their teachers, and the school.
He gave special recognition to the Physical Instructor, Mr. Raje Sahab Nipani, for his dedicated hard work in training the students. “It is a matter of great pride for us that such a large number of students have reached the state level,” Mr. Ishaq said. “They have brought honor to our institution and our city.”
In his address, he advised the students to continue to follow the guidance of their teachers and to balance their athletic activities with their studies to achieve excellent academic results.
Awards and Recognition
A ceremony was held to honor the successful athletes. Prizes were presented by Mr. Saadullah Ruknuddin (High School Board Secretary) and Mr. Noor Mohammed (Headmaster of IAU High School). Teachers and staff also attended to encourage and celebrate the students’ achievements.
The main state-level athletics competition is scheduled to be held in Bagalkot this December. The state-level Karate competition will take place in Chikkaballapur on November 9, 2025.

The report also noted that three students Asif S/O Zaheer Ahmed, Mohammed Nibhan S/O Abdul Majid, and Dawood Qazi S/O Mujeeb Qazi had previously represented the school with an excellent performance in Kabaddi for the Belgaum division.
