Iqbal Chamundi Wins Gold at South India Zonal Karate Championship
Bhatkal, August 31, 2025: In a proud moment for Al Fitrah Islamic Primary School, Iqbal Chamundi, a student of Class 5, has won the Gold Medal at the 4th South India Zonal Karate Championship, held in Bangalore on 30th and 31st August 2025.
Iqbal, the son of Imran Chamundi, stood out among hundreds of participants from across the southern states, displaying exceptional skill, discipline, and determination. His victory not only brought laurels to the school but also highlighted his dedication to balancing both academics and sports.
The school management expressed immense pride in Iqbal’s achievement. “We are truly honored by Iqbal’s success,” said a school spokesperson. “His performance in Karate is inspiring, and we equally admire his sincerity in his studies.”
