iPhone 17 Series Prices Leak Ahead of Apple’s ‘Awe Dropping’ Launch
Ahead of Apple’s highly anticipated “Awe Dropping” event on September 9, market research firm TrendForce has leaked pricing predictions for the new iPhone 17 lineup. The base iPhone 17 is rumored to launch at $799 (approximately ₹70,534), retaining the 128GB storage option from the previous generation.
However, the Pro variants could see notable price increases. The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to start at $1,199 (about ₹1,05,855), $200 higher than last year’s iPhone 16 Pro entry price but includes double the storage at 256GB. The iPhone 17 Pro Max may begin at $1,299 (around ₹1,14,700) with similar storage benefits.
The new iPhone 17 Air, a slimmer successor to the iPhone 16 Plus, is anticipated to start at $1,099 (approximately ₹97,000) but may not offer a 128GB variant.
Price increments could push the highest-tier 1TB iPhone 17 Pro Max to $1,699, compared to $1,599 for the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Apple will officially unveil the lineup and confirm pricing on September 9, alongside updates to the Apple Watch and the AirPods Pro 3.
