BHATKAL — The Indian Nawayath Forum (INF) successfully organized INF Launchpad 2025, a career and leadership development camp at Ameena Palace, Bhatkal, on Thursday. The event aimed to guide Class 10 students through one of the most important phases of their academic lives.

The camp concluded with words of encouragement from Mohammed Rafi Pasha, Deputy Commissioner of GST in Bengaluru and a well-known author of competitive exam preparation books. Speaking as the chief guest, he appreciated INF’s efforts in organizing a meaningful event for young students. He also promised to support more such programs focused on youth education in the future.

Ameen-e-Mudassar, CEO of CIGMA and one of Karnataka’s top career counselors, praised the planning behind the event. “Most events like this are organized in less than 15 days, but this one was planned three months in advance. That’s why it was so well-organized and smoothly executed,” he said.

INF President Aftab Husain Kola highlighted a concerning trend during his address. He pointed out that Muslim students remain underrepresented in higher education across India. “Two years ago, Muslims made up only 6% of total enrollments in higher education. In top institutions like IITs, IISERs, NITs, and IIMs, this number drops to just 1.92%. Even in the 2024 Civil Services results, Muslim candidates accounted for less than 3% of those who succeeded,” he explained.

Kola stressed that early career guidance is the key to changing these numbers. “Students need the right information at the right time about career options, scholarships, and opportunities. That’s exactly what this camp is designed to do,” he added.

The camp featured sessions led by experienced professionals, including Ameen-e-Mudassar, Suhail Babu (an experiential educator and leadership trainer from Tirur, Kerala), and Shamsuddin Usman Shaik, Taluk Minority Extension Officer of Bhatkal. All speakers praised INF for creating an engaging and informative experience for the students.

The day began with a Quranic recitation by Hafiz Mohammed Abyaan, son of Ameen Akrami. Mohammed Adil Nagarmat, General Secretary of INF, delivered the welcome address. Event coordinator Saalim Kola gave the vote of thanks, while Tanveer Motiya served as co-coordinator.

Throughout the day, students participated in interactive sessions, watched educational presentations, and took part in quizzes. More than 270 students from five schools attended the camp and received participation certificates.

INF Launchpad 2025 gave young students valuable insights into modern career paths, competitive exams, scholarship programs, and personality development helping them make smarter, more confident choices for their future.
