The Lebanese armed group Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for an attack on the Ramat David Airbase in northern Israel.

In a statement, Hezbollah said it launched a “swarm of drones” at dawn, targeting radar systems and control rooms at the base. The group described the attack as retaliation for Israel’s recent strikes on multiple areas in Lebanon.

Separately, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it carried out a “massive drone and missile attack” on a US air base in the Sheikh Isa area of Bahrain.

According to the IRGC statement, 20 drones and three missiles were deployed, allegedly “destroying the main command and headquarters building of the US air base and setting its fuel tanks on fire.”

There was no immediate confirmation or comment from Bahraini or US authorities regarding the claims.
