Grand Mosque (Makkah) Releases Weekly Prayer Imam Schedule for 17–23 Shawwal 1447 AH i.e 05 – 11 April 2026
Masjid al-Haram announces its full weekly lineup of Imams for five daily prayers, with backup leaders also named.

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has released the official weekly prayer schedule for the Imams of Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, covering the period from Sunday, 17 Shawwal to Saturday, 23 Shawwal 1447 AH.
Here is the full schedule for the week:
Fajr (Dawn Prayer) Led by Sheikh Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Awwad Al-Juhani, with Sheikh Dr. Maher bin Hamad Al-Muaiqly serving as the backup Imam.
Dhuhr (Midday Prayer) Led by Sheikh Prof. Dr. Faisal bin Jameel Al-Ghazawi, with Sheikh Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Awwad Al-Juhani as the reserve Imam.
Asr (Afternoon Prayer) Led by Sheikh Dr. Bandar bin Abdulaziz Baleelah, with Sheikh Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Awwad Al-Juhani standing by as backup.
Maghrib (Sunset Prayer) Led by Sheikh Dr. Bandar bin Abdulaziz Baleelah, with Sheikh Dr. Maher bin Hamad Al-Muaiqly as the reserve Imam.
Isha (Night Prayer) Led by Sheikh Dr. Maher bin Hamad Al-Muaiqly, with Sheikh Dr. Bandar bin Abdulaziz Baleelah serving as the backup Imam.
Each of these scholars is a senior Imam at the Grand Mosque, and all are well-known to Muslims worldwide through live broadcasts of the daily prayers from Makkah. The General Presidency publishes this schedule weekly to keep worshippers, pilgrims, and visitors fully informed in advance.
