Gold and Silver Prices Surge to New Heights in India and UAE
Both precious metals witness strong bullish momentum as gold crosses ₹14,000 mark in India while silver reaches record levels
Gold and silver prices have experienced significant gains across India and the UAE, marking one of the strongest rallies in recent months. The latest update from January 12, 2026, shows unprecedented growth in precious metal valuations.
In India, 24-karat gold reached ₹14,064 per gram, representing an increase of ₹224 from the previous trading session. This marks a major milestone as gold crosses the ₹14,000 threshold for the first time.
The 22-karat gold variant climbed to ₹12,892 per gram, up by ₹205, while 18-karat gold settled at ₹10,548 per gram with a gain of ₹168.
Meanwhile, the UAE market witnessed similar upward trends. Pure 24-karat gold touched AED 541 per gram, rising by AED 7. The 22-karat variety reached AED 495.92, gaining AED 6.42, and 18-karat gold stood at AED 405.75, up by AED 5.25.
Silver prices also demonstrated impressive growth during this period. In India, silver reached ₹270 per gram on January 10, 2026, marking an increase of ₹10 from previous rates.
In the UAE, silver climbed to AED 9.9 per gram, registering a gain of AED 0.5.
The current rally represents what experts are calling an “explosive week” for precious metals. Both gold and silver have achieved their highest tracked values in recent history, with gold in the UAE hitting absolute record levels.
