Gaza Health Official: Israel Kills 28 Children Every Day Amid Ongoing Conflict
Munir al-Bursh reports 30% of Palestinians killed in Gaza are children; over 65,000 orphans created by war and famine.
Munir al-Bursh, director-general of Gaza’s Health Ministry, has said that Israel’s attacks are killing 28 Palestinian children daily in Gaza. According to al-Bursh, children account for at least 30 percent of the fatalities in the ongoing conflict, with the war described as genocidal in nature.
He highlighted the severe humanitarian toll, noting that the conflict and Israeli-induced famine have caused the deaths of 370 people due to malnutrition, 131 of whom were children. Furthermore, the war has left more than 65,000 children orphaned in Gaza.
Al-Bursh condemned the international community for its lack of decisive action, stating that “famine and genocide have been officially declared in Gaza, but the world has stood still, watching.”
