Friday Sermon at Khaleefa Jama Masjid: Moulana Khawaja Akrami Saheb Madani Emphasizes Importance of Sending Blessings on the Prophet
In the recent Friday sermon at Khaleefa Jama Masjid, Moulana Khawaja Akrami Saheb Madani spoke about the immense blessings and rights of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) upon the Muslim community. He described the Prophet as the greatest benefactor of humanity whose coming removed darkness, ignorance, and oppression, and brought light, guidance, and mercy to the world.
Moulana Sahib stressed that one of the most important duties of the believers is to send abundant blessings and peace (Darood) upon the Prophet, especially on Fridays. He explained that Allah and His angels also send blessings on the Prophet, and believers who frequently recite Darood gain Allah’s mercy, forgiveness of sins, and nearness to the Prophet on the Day of Judgment.
The sermon reminded the congregation of the great spiritual rewards for those who send blessings upon the Prophet and the significance of making this practice a regular part of daily life. Moulana Sahib prayed that Allah grants all believers the strength and love to follow this noble practice and live according to the teachings of the Prophet.
