Sheikh Dr. Abdul Bari Al-Thubaity will lead the Friday sermon and prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has announced that Sheikh Dr. Abdul Bari Al-Thubaity will deliver the Friday sermon (Khutbah) and lead the Friday prayer at Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah on 9 Jumada al-Awwal 1447 AH, corresponding to Friday, October 31, 2025.
Sheikh Dr. Abdul Bari Al-Thubaity, a respected scholar and distinguished Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque, is known for his inspiring sermons that focus on faith, guidance, and moral values derived from the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Worshippers from around the world are expected to attend the Friday prayer, with millions more tuning in through live television and online broadcasts from the Prophet’s Mosque.
This announcement was made by the Agency for Imams and Muezzins Affairs, which oversees the scheduling and coordination of Imams at the Two Holy Mosques.
