Sheikh Prof. Salah Al-Budayr will lead the Friday sermon and prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has announced that Sheikh Professor Salah Al-Budayr, one of the senior Imams of Masjid an-Nabawi, will deliver the Friday sermon (Khutbah) and lead the Friday prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah on 30 Jumada al-Ula 1447 AH, corresponding to Friday, November 21, 2025.
Sheikh Prof. Salah Al-Budayr is admired for his calm and heartfelt style of delivering sermons, as well as his spiritually uplifting Qur’anic recitation. Thousands of worshippers are expected to attend the Friday prayer inside the Prophet’s Mosque and its surrounding courtyards, while millions will follow through global live broadcasts and online streaming platforms.
This announcement was issued by the Agency for Imams and Muezzins Affairs, which organizes the schedules of Imams at the Two Holy Mosques and oversees prayer leadership throughout the week.
