Sheikh Prof. Faisal Ghazzawi will lead the Friday sermon and prayer at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has officially announced that Sheikh Professor Faisal Ghazzawi, one of the esteemed Imams of the Grand Mosque, will deliver the Friday sermon (Khutbah) and lead the Friday prayer at Masjid al-Haram in Makkah on 30 Jumada al-Ula 1447 AH, corresponding to Friday, November 21, 2025.
Sheikh Prof. Faisal Ghazzawi is widely known for his eloquent voice, deep Quranic insight, and powerful sermons that focus on spirituality, moral refinement, and strengthening the connection with Allah. Worshippers are expected to attend in large numbers, while millions around the world are anticipated to follow the sermon through live television and digital broadcasts.
The schedule was released by the Agency for Imams and Muezzins Affairs, under the supervision of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, which continues to coordinate and facilitate prayer leadership and services at Islam’s holiest site.
