Four MBBS Interns Killed in Tragic Road Accident in Uttar Pradesh
Four medical students lost their lives after their car rammed into a stationary truck on a highway in Amroha district late Wednesday night.

Amroha, Uttar Pradesh — A tragic road accident claimed the lives of four MBBS interns when their car collided with a parked truck on National Highway 9 in Amroha district on Wednesday night.
The incident took place near Atrasi village under the Rajabpur police station area, approximately seven kilometers from Sri Venkateswara University in Gajraula.
According to police reports, the four interns were returning from a party when the driver lost control of their sedan. The car crashed into the rear of a truck that was parked on the roadside, loaded with foam mattresses.
The impact was so severe that the front portion of the car was completely crushed and became stuck under the truck. Local residents who witnessed the accident immediately informed the police.
Rescue teams had to use a tractor to separate the mangled vehicle from the truck. The bodies of the victims were eventually retrieved after cutting through the wreckage.
Rajabpur Station Officer Komal Tomar confirmed the identities of the deceased as Arnab Chakraborty from Kolkata, Aayush Sharma from Delhi, Shrestha Pancholi from Delhi, and Saptarishi from Tripura. All four were interning at Venkateshwara University.
“All four victims died on the spot. Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination,” Officer Tomar stated.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his deep condolences to the bereaved families. He directed district officials to reach the accident site immediately and ensure that all necessary relief measures are carried out promptly.
Police have launched an investigation into the accident and legal proceedings are currently underway.
