Air India Express has announced a special festive deal for Indian expatriates in the Gulf, allowing them to carry an extra 10 kilograms of baggage for only Dh1.
The promotion is designed to help families travelling home for the holidays. To get this offer, passengers must book their flights by October 31, 2025, for travel dates up to November 30, 2025. It is important to note that the extra baggage must be added at the time of booking and cannot be included after the ticket has been issued.
This deal is not just for flights from the UAE; it also applies to bookings from other Gulf nations, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and Qatar.
PP Singh, the airline’s Regional Manager for the Gulf, Middle East & Africa, said the offer is a way to support passengers during the busy travel season. “We understand that festive travel often means carrying gifts and essentials for loved ones, and this offer is our way of making that journey a little lighter on the wallet,” he said.
With major festivals like Diwali and the end of the Onam season, travel is expected to increase significantly. The low-cost baggage deal will likely be very popular among those looking to save money on their trip home.
