Shareef Hilal Masjid in Makdhoom Colony Gets Jumma Prayer Approval

Bhatkal, November 21, 2025: Shareef Hilal Masjid in Al Hilal Side, Makdhoom Colony, offered its first Jumma (Friday) prayer today following official approval from the Chief Qazi Khalifa Jamatul Muslimeen Bhatkal.

The first Jumma prayer was led by Moulana Shakeeb Shahbandari Nadwi, with a large number of local residents attending the blessed occasion. The prayer was successfully conducted, Alhamdulillah.

While the mosque has been serving the community for many years with all five daily prayers being offered regularly, today marked the first time that Friday congregational prayer was conducted at the premises. The permission to hold Jumma prayers at the mosque was granted by Chief Qazi Moulana Khawaja Moinddin Akrami Madani, Markazi Khalifa of Jamatul Muslimeen Bhatkal.

“Alhamdulillah, this is a moment of great joy for us. Our mosque has been a center of worship for years, and now with the approval to hold Jumma prayers, it has gained a new significance,” said one of the mosque administrators.

Local residents and mosque committee members expressed their heartfelt congratulations on this blessed occasion. They thanked the Chief Qazi for granting the permission and appreciated everyone who has been part of the mosque’s journey over the years.

The approval for Jumma prayers is expected to make worship more convenient for residents of Al Hilal Side in Makdhoom Colony, who can now attend Friday prayers at their local mosque instead of traveling to other locations.

Community leaders described the successful completion of the first Jumma as an important moment in the mosque’s journey and expressed hope that it would continue to serve as a spiritual center for the neighborhood.
