Bhatkal, August 25: A fire broke out today at Thaseen Fruit and Vegetable, located on Jali Road beside the Oceanic Building in Bhatkal. Thick smoke from the blaze caused concern among nearby residents and businesses.

Firefighters from the local fire brigade arrived quickly with a fire vehicle but were unable to control the fire immediately as the water supply ran out. After several tense minutes, a second fire truck arrived on the scene, and with additional resources, the team successfully brought the fire under control.
