Farewell Ceremony Held at Jamia Islamia Bhatkal as 74 Students Complete Their Studies
Seventy-four Alimiyyah students and three Muftis formally graduate; Molana Abdul Bari Educational Award also presented.

Bhatkal: A two-session farewell ceremony was held at Jamia Islamia Bhatkal on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, marking the formal completion of studies for 74 students of the Alimiyyah course and three graduates from Darul Ifta.
During the farewell programme, the graduating students and newly qualified Muftis shared their reflections and experiences. They spoke about the beginning of their academic journey, the intellectual and moral training they received during their years at the institution, and the guidance and care of their teachers. They described the spiritual and educational environment of the Jamia as deeply enriching and influential in shaping their thinking and character.
The graduates expressed that their time at Jamia Islamia Bhatkal would remain a priceless asset in their lives, helping them develop clarity of thought and a strong sense of religious responsibility. They paid heartfelt tribute to their teachers for their tireless efforts, constant mentorship, and sincere dedication. The students acknowledged that their teachers not only imparted knowledge but also prepared them for practical life and future challenges.
The graduating students also expressed deep gratitude to their parents for their sacrifices, prayers, and unwavering support, which enabled them to reach this milestone. They pledged to dedicate their knowledge and abilities to guiding the community correctly and serving Islam and Shariah with sincerity.
Participants at the event conveyed their best wishes for the graduates’ future and prayed that Allah grants them beneficial knowledge, righteous deeds, and sincerity in serving the Deen. On the occasion, the Abna-e-Jamia (Eastern Region) presented the Moulana Abdul Bari Educational Award for the academic year 1446 AH, named after former Principal of the Jamia, Moulana Abdul Bari Fakardey Nadvi (rahmatullah alaih). The award was conferred upon Moulvi Abdul Muqsit S/O Ibrahim Khumi in recognition of his academic excellence.
