Over 320,000 Palestinian children face hunger crisis amid food blockade and growing famine.

More than 320,000 children under the age of five in Gaza are at risk of acute malnutrition, UNICEF has warned, highlighting an urgent humanitarian crisis developing in the region. The United Nations agency stressed the need for a massive influx of humanitarian aid, including specialized nutrition supplies, to prevent widespread starvation and long-term health damage among the youngest and most vulnerable.

The crisis has been worsening due to ongoing blockades that restrict food, water, and medical supplies from entering Gaza. Last month, global agencies confirmed that Gaza City and its surroundings are already experiencing famine conditions, with the situation expected to spread to central and southern parts of Gaza by the end of September. The supply shortages, combined with damaged infrastructure, have left children especially vulnerable to disease and developmental setbacks.
