Emirates Flight from Dubai to Hyderabad Lands Safely After Bomb Threat

An Emirates flight traveling from Dubai to Hyderabad received a security threat on Friday, prompting authorities to activate standard safety procedures, the airline confirmed.
Flight EK526 landed safely at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at 8:30 am local time. All passengers disembarked without incident after thorough security checks were completed.
“Authorities alerted us to a potential security threat on Emirates’ flight EK526 from Dubai to Hyderabad,” an Emirates spokesperson told Khaleej Times. “Standard security procedures were implemented with full cooperation from Emirates’ ground teams, and passengers disembarked normally after security checks.”
Indian airport authorities in Hyderabad followed all necessary safety protocols to ensure the protection of passengers and the aircraft. The airline emphasized that passenger safety remains their top priority.
“The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew remain Emirates’ highest priority,” the spokesperson added.
Emirates is the world’s largest international airline and operates regular flights to nine Indian cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Hyderabad.
The incident was resolved without any harm to passengers or crew members.
