A special “Board of Peace” will handle the reconstruction money. This board will be led by former US President Donald Trump.
According to Egypt’s foreign minister:
- Hamas supports this plan and won’t be part of the temporary government
- Israel must withdraw its troops and allow aid to enter freely
- Hamas must help keep the area secure for the new leaders to work
