Coastal Karnataka May See Rain from November 5
IMD issues yellow alert as low-pressure area over Bay of Bengal brings chances of moderate rainfall.

Mangaluru: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rainfall along Karnataka’s coastal region starting November 5, as a low-pressure area develops over the Bay of Bengal.
The IMD bulletin forecasts light to moderate rain with accompanying winds in some coastal areas for a few days after November 4. A yellow alert has been issued for coastal Karnataka from November 5 to 7, indicating the possibility of moderate rainfall during this period.
On Sunday, rainfall intensity had decreased across the coast, with partly cloudy skies and intermittent sunshine. Some areas in Udupi district experienced light drizzles amid warm and humid conditions.
Farmers have been busy harvesting paddy over the past two days due to favorable weather. However, the upcoming rain may disrupt ongoing harvest activities in the region.
