Civil Services Workshop Inspires 62 Students at Anjuman College Bhatkal

Bhatkal, November 13, 2025 – A special workshop aimed at guiding students toward civil services and government competitive examinations was held at Anjuman Arts, Science & Commerce College on Thursday morning.

The event, which ran from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., brought together 62 students from Anjuman Degree College and Anjuman Institute of Management and Computer Application (AIMCA). It was jointly organized by the college’s Students Welfare Wing and the Anjuman Centre of Excellence.

Professor Mohammed Ganim, the Student Welfare Officer, hosted the program. The workshop began with a Qur’anic recitation by Ismail, a B.Com student. Mr. Yaseen Askari from the Anjuman Centre of Excellence welcomed the guests and introduced the resource persons.

The workshop featured several engaging sessions designed to motivate and prepare students for competitive exams. Mr. Ahkam, a UPSC mentor from Ace IAS Academy, shared valuable insights on various competitive exams and effective preparation strategies during his 25-minute session.

Mr. Ammar Ahsan Sayeed, Associate Director and Academic Head at Ace IAS Academy, conducted an interesting activity called “Circle of Confidence” to help students build self-confidence and improve their communication skills.

Students also participated in a mock preliminary exam in OMR format, giving them a taste of the actual examination experience. The session included presentations on UPSC and other government exams, emphasizing the importance of starting preparation early.

In his closing remarks, Mr. Ammar Ahsan Sayeed praised the students’ enthusiasm and encouraged them to pursue their goals with discipline and hard work.

Professor Yusuf Kola, Principal of Anjuman Arts, Science & Commerce College, delivered the vote of thanks. He appreciated the efforts of everyone involved in organizing the workshop.

Professor Mohammed Mohsin, Principal of AIMCA, and Professor Hassan, Head of the BCA Department, also attended the event. They commended the initiative for creating awareness and motivation among students.

The workshop was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Zubair Kola, Vice President-II of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen and Coordinator of the Anjuman Centre of Excellence. His vision and leadership were key to the event’s success.

The program reflected Anjuman’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and student development, providing students with valuable guidance for their future careers in civil services.

The organising team extends heartfelt thanks to Rabita Society, Bhatkal, and BMKC for their crucial role in conceiving and supporting the project. Their vision and encouragement were key in turning the program into reality.
