Chief Officer Visits Hursaal Area in Bhatkal, Assures Immediate Action on Public Issues
Residents highlight problems of streetlights, drainage, cleanliness, and parking; officials promise prompt solutions.

Bhatkal: Responding to public demands to address long-pending issues in the low-lying Hursaal area of Ranginkatte, Bhatkal, the Chief Officer of the Jali Pattana Panchayat visited the locality and reviewed the situation on the ground.
During the visit, residents drew attention to the non-functioning streetlights, explaining that darkness between Maghrib and Isha causes serious inconvenience. The Chief Officer assured them that the concerned department would conduct an immediate survey and carry out repairs.
Residents also pointed out the overgrown bushes along the roadside and the narrow passageways, which create difficulties for pedestrians and vehicles. The Chief Officer promised to instruct the sanitation team to clear the bushes and improve accessibility.
Another major issue raised was the disorderly parking around the Jumu’a Masjid on Fridays. Community representatives suggested marking proper parking lines and installing safety bollards to regulate traffic. The Chief Officer welcomed the suggestion and assured concrete action.
Concerns related to drainage, road repairs, installation of garbage bins, and the need for more attention from the sanitation staff were also presented. The Chief Officer took note of all the complaints seriously and promised prompt steps to resolve them.
Those present during the visit included Imam and Khateeb of Jumu’a Masjid Maulana Jafar Nadwi, Syed Ahmad Saeed, Saadullah Bermavar, active youth members Suhaib Qazi, Shaukath, Hafiz Umar Saleem Nadwi, Dr. Yahya Askari, Panchayat President Mrs. Afsha, senior community member Jilani Kola, Rizwan Kadameen, and several other respected residents.
