BMA Riyadh’s Milan 2025 Event Celebrates Community Spirit and Honors Leaders
The annual gathering featured Pravasi Bhartiya Samman awardee Dr. Anwar Khursheed and recognized veteran social worker Janab Abdus Sami Kola for his dedicated service.

Riyadh – The Bhatkal Muslim Association (BMA) Riyadh successfully hosted its annual flagship event, Milan 2025, on Thursday at the Crown Plaza Hotel. The evening brought together a large gathering of community members, families, and supporters for a celebration of unity and achievement.
The event was honored by the presence of Chief Guest Dr. Anwar Khursheed, a distinguished figure from Gulbarga and a long-time resident of Saudi Arabia. Dr. Khursheed was recently awarded the prestigious Bhartiya Pravasi Samman by the President of India for his outstanding contributions to healthcare, education, and social welfare.
Moulana Niamathullah Askeri attended as the Guest of Honor. He delivered a powerful speech, reminding the audience of the importance of unity, faith, and selfless service to build a better society.
In his keynote address, BMA Riyadh President, Mr. Mohamed Ammar Kazia, praised Dr. Anwar Khursheed’s accomplishments, calling him “a true inspiration and role model.” He also expressed his gratitude to Moulana Niamathullah Askeri for his continued guidance to the community.
A special moment of the evening was the felicitation of Janab Abdus Sami Kola, a veteran social worker and a three-time former president of BMA Riyadh. He was honored for his decades of tireless service to the community in both Riyadh and Bhatkal.
The program was skillfully managed by Mr. Irshad Ahmed, the General Secretary of BMA Riyadh, who served as the Master of Ceremony. The event’s smooth organization was led by the convener, Mr. Suhaib Musba.
The celebration was filled with engaging activities for all ages, including Educational Awards, a Fancy Dress Competition, skits, Nath recitations, and quizzes. The night concluded with a grand Raffle Draw featuring several exciting prizes.
Milan 2025 once again highlighted BMA Riyadh’s commitment to strengthening community bonds, promoting cultural pride, and honoring those who dedicate their lives to serving others.
