Patna: According to informed sources, Bihar’s new government is likely to be sworn in on November 19 or 20, as the NDA prepares to form its administration. The exact date for the oath-taking ceremony will depend on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s itinerary, they said.

The NDA secured a decisive victory in the recent Bihar assembly elections, significantly outperforming its 2020 results. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged as the single largest party, winning 89 seats, while its ally, the Janata Dal (United) [JDU], secured 85 seats. Smaller NDA partners—including the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), HAM, and RLM also made solid gains, contributing to the coalition’s strong mandate.
