Bhatkal Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Patriotic Spirit and Public Participation
Large gatherings, flag hoisting ceremonies, and student performances mark Republic Day celebrations across Bhatkal.
Bhatkal (Fikrokhabar News): Bhatkal witnessed enthusiastic celebrations of the 77th Republic Day as people from all walks of life came together to honour the Constitution and democratic values of India.
The national tricolour was hoisted at several locations across the town, including government offices, the Town Municipal Council, panchayat buildings, schools, colleges, madrasas, police stations, sports centres, taxi and auto unions, and social organisations such as Majlis-e-Islah-o-Tanzeem. The main official ceremony was held at the Taluk Ground, where government officers and students from various taluk-level schools participated.
A large number of citizens, government officials, students, teachers and local representatives attended the celebrations. The event reflected strong public participation and a shared sense of patriotism.
At the Taluk Ground in Nawayat Colony, students showcased their talents through a colourful parade and cultural performances. Their disciplined march and performances highlighting national unity and heritage were well received by the audience.
As part of the celebrations, social workers, sportspersons and government officials were felicitated in recognition of their contributions to society and public service.
The Republic Day celebrations in Bhatkal were marked by unity, respect for the nation’s freedom struggle, and a reaffirmation of commitment to the values enshrined in the Constitution.
