Bhatkal Couple Killed in Bengaluru Road Accident as Speeding Ambulance Runs Over Several Vehicles
The tragic accident near Richmond Circle occurred when an ambulance broke a red signal and rammed into multiple vehicles.

Bengaluru (Fikrokhabar News): A tragic road accident occurred in Bengaluru on Saturday night when a speeding ambulance jumped a red signal near Richmond Circle and crashed into several vehicles, killing a husband and wife from Bhatkal on the spot.
The accident took place at around 11 pm, when several motorcyclists were stopped at a traffic signal. Suddenly, the ambulance came from behind at high speed and rammed into the stationary vehicles, hitting three motorcycles. One of the bikes was dragged for several meters before the ambulance finally crashed near a nearby police outpost.
The deceased have been identified as Ismail Nathar (40) and his wife Sameen Banu (33), who were riding a Dio scooter at the time of the crash. Both died instantly due to the severe impact.

Two other people sustained injuries in the incident and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Officers from the Wilson Garden Traffic Police Station arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. Reports indicate that the ambulance driver fled the spot after the collision. Police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
