Life Care Hospital Launches Ayushman Card Facility

Bhatkal: Life Care Hospital, under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohammad Yunus Qazia, Director of Life Care and President of Anjuman, formally launched the Ayushman Card facility for patients.
With this service, patients are now eligible to receive benefits of the Government of India’s health scheme by simply presenting their ration card and Aadhaar card.
Hospital authorities explained that the rules for accessing the Ayushman service are kept very simple. For families holding Below Poverty Line (BPL) ration cards, the government will bear almost the entire cost of treatment. Patients with Above Poverty Line (APL) cards will also receive partial support, with the government covering up to 30 percent of the expenses.
In case of any emergency or urgent surgery, patients will be provided immediate assistance once confirmed by the concerned doctors.
Officials added that for further details or to avail the facility, patients can directly approach Life Care Hospital’s help desk.
