Apple to Unveil iPhone 17 Series on September 9
Washington, August 27: Apple has officially confirmed that it will hold its annual launch event on September 9, 2025, at its campus in California, United States. The event will start at 8:00 pm Mecca time and will be attended by invited media representatives.
At this year’s showcase, the tech giant is set to announce the iPhone 17 lineup, which will include the regular iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and a completely new model named iPhone 17 Air. Apple describes the iPhone 17 Air as the thinnest iPhone it has ever made.
The iPhone 17 Pro models are expected to come with an updated design, featuring an aluminum frame and a newly redesigned rear camera system. All versions of the iPhone 17 will reportedly run on the A19 or A19 Pro chip and, for the first time, include ProMotion display technology, which allows for smoother performance.
Alongside the smartphones, Apple will also introduce the Apple Watch Series 11, the new Apple Watch Ultra 3, and the Apple Watch SE 3 for customers looking for a more affordable option.
In addition, Apple is expected to reveal the official release dates for its upcoming operating systems: iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe. These updates are likely to roll out in early September, shortly after the iPhone 17 event.
