Anjuman President Meets Uttara Kannada SP to Address Road Safety and Illegal Activities in Bhatkal

Bhatkal, August 28, 2025 (Fikrokhabar News) – The President of Anjuman Hami-e- Muslimeen, Bhatkal, Mr. Yunus Qaziya, met Uttara Kannada Superintendent of Police (SP) Deepan M today to discuss pressing civic and safety issues concerning the town.

During the meeting, Mr. Qaziya expressed concern over the alarming rise in road accidents in Bhatkal, pointing out that inadequate traffic and police arrangements are contributing to the loss of many precious lives. He stressed the urgent need for improved enforcement to safeguard residents.

The discussions also focused on strengthening CCTV surveillance across the city. While cameras are already installed at several locations, Mr. Qaziya emphasized the importance of upgrading existing systems and installing modern, high-tech cameras in uncovered areas to ensure better monitoring.

Additionally, the issue of curbing illegal activities in Bhatkal was highlighted, with Mr. Qaziya urging proactive measures from law enforcement.

SP Deepan M, while listening attentively to the concerns, assured that necessary steps would be taken to address these challenges. Mr. Qaziya later told Fikrokhabar that the SP’s cooperative approach and commitment could pave the way for meaningful progress in resolving the town’s pressing issues.
