Anjuman Hami Muslimeen Bhatkal to Celebrate Anjuman Day on December 13-14
The prestigious educational institution will welcome top state officials and hold cultural programs with raffle draw prizes
Bhatkal, Karnataka – Anjuman Hami Muslimeen Bhatkal is set to organize its annual Anjuman Day celebration on December 13 and 14, 2025, at Anjuman Abad in Bhatkal.
The two-day Anjuman Day event will feature distinguished guests from the state government, academic leaders, and local dignitaries, along with cultural programs and a grand raffle draw with prizes for attendees.
The first day of Anjuman Day celebrations on December 13 will begin at 10:30 AM and continue until 1:30 PM. Shri Mankala S Vaidya, the Minister for Fisheries, Ports and Inland Water Transport, and District In-Charge Minister of Uttara Kannada, will attend as the chief guest.
Dr. U.T. Khader Fareed, Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, will grace the occasion as a guest of honour. Other notable guests include Dr. A.M. Khan, Vice Chancellor of Karnatak University Dharwad, and Dr. Abdul Qadeer, Chairman of Shaheen Education Foundation in Bidar.
Mr. Yunus Kazia, President of Anjuman Hami Muslimeen Bhatkal, will preside over the function. Cultural programs are scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM on the same day.
The second day on December 14 has been organized exclusively for women, running from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Dr. Farzeen Shamshuddin Kazia, a qualified pediatrician with international certifications from the UK and Saudi Arabia, will be the chief guest.
Ms. Beena Mankala Vaidya, Director of The Bhatkal Urban Co-operative Bank, and Smt. Ashwini Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Cyber Crime in Uttara Kannada District, will attend as guests of honour. Kum. Kavya Rani K.V., Assistant Commissioner of Sirsi Sub-Division, will also participate in the event.
Mrs. Seema Abubakar Kasimji, Chairperson of the Ladies Advisory Committee, will preside over the second day’s program. Cultural performances will begin at 2:30 PM.
The celebration is being organized under the leadership of Janab Yunus Kazia (President), Janab Ishaq Shabandri (General Secretary), and Prof. Mohammed Mohsin K (Convener). Prof. Qurratulain and Mrs. Saba Damda are serving as coordinators for the event.
Anjuman Hami Muslimeen Bhatkal operates multiple educational institutions in the region, including engineering colleges, medical and health science institutions, and schools that serve thousands of students in the coastal Karnataka region.
