Anjuman College Bhatkal Launches Digital Marketing Course to Boost Student Skills
Introductory session highlights career opportunities and practical learning in digital marketing

Bhatkal, April 1, 2026: Anjuman Arts, Science and Commerce College, Bhatkal, has introduced a new value added course in digital marketing aimed at preparing students for modern career opportunities. The initiative, launched under the guidance of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, began with an introductory session held on campus.
The session started at 10:30 AM under the leadership of Principal Prof. Mohammed Yusuf Kola. It was organised by the Students Welfare Wing and coordinated by Prof. Mohammed Ganim Mohtisham. The programme opened with a Qirat recited by a final year B.Com student, creating a meaningful and respectful beginning to the event.
Digital marketing expert Faizan Sukri addressed the students as the resource person. His session focused on practical knowledge and real world applications. He explained how tools like artificial intelligence platforms, Canva, and WordPress are shaping today’s digital landscape. He also introduced students to key concepts such as social media marketing, Google Ads, and search engine optimisation.
What stood out in his talk was the focus on career possibilities beyond traditional jobs. He spoke about freelancing, remote work, and the chance to work with international clients while staying in one’s hometown. Sharing real life examples, he highlighted how individuals without technical backgrounds have successfully built careers in digital marketing.
The newly launched 30 hour course is being conducted in collaboration with Infycubeweb, a local training institute known for hands on digital marketing education. The course is designed to help students build practical skills in areas like social media marketing, website development, SEO, and AI based tools.
Around 150 students from undergraduate and postgraduate programmes attended the session along with faculty members. The interaction was lively, with students actively asking questions and showing strong interest in learning digital skills alongside their academic studies.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal emphasised the importance of such initiatives in preparing students for a fast changing job market. He noted that the college remains committed to offering practical learning experiences that go beyond traditional classroom teaching.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Rawoof Savnoor, who appreciated the efforts of the organisers, the resource person, and all participants for making the event successful.
