A troubling incident from the Tri Nagar area of Delhi has come to light after a video surfaced nearly two months later, triggering concern and anger among residents.

The incident reportedly took place on February 13 in a locality that falls under the Keshav Puram Police Station. According to reports, some local individuals placed cages containing pigs outside the homes of Muslim families. The act is believed to have been carried out with the intention of harassing residents and pressuring them to leave the area.

CCTV footage from the neighbourhood appears to show three men moving the cages from one house to another. A small crowd can also be seen gathered nearby during the incident.

Sources say that when journalists were informed and arrived at the scene, the cages were quickly removed from outside the Muslim households. They were then placed near the homes of those allegedly involved, possibly in an attempt to create the impression that the act was not targeted.

The video of the incident only became public on April 6, leading to fresh outrage and renewed discussions about communal tensions in parts of northwest Delhi.

As of now, authorities have not released any official statement regarding the matter. The incident has raised serious questions about safety, coexistence, and the need for prompt action in cases involving alleged targeted harassment.
