Ali Public Pre-University and Ali Public School Hold Farewell Ceremony in Bhatkal
103 Pre-University and 175 SSLC students graduate; 14 students complete memorization of the Holy Quran

Bhatkal: Ali Public Pre-University and Ali Public School, Bhatkal, organized their annual farewell ceremony on the school campus at 9:00 a.m. today. The event marked an important milestone for students completing their academic journey at the institution.
This year, a total of 103 students from Ali Public Pre-University and 175 students from the SSLC section successfully graduated. The ceremony also celebrated outstanding academic and co-curricular achievements of both students and teachers, who were honored with various awards.
The prestigious Durr-e-Ali Award was presented to Rahil Ahmed, son of Abdul Basit Damudi. The Best Teacher Award was given to Mr. Yaseen Otti from the High School section and Mr. Imad Peshimam Nadvi from the Primary section. The Best Achievement Award was conferred upon Mohammad Farooq, son of Rashad Hasan Ruknuddin. Special awards were also presented to Mohammad Wazeh and Mohammad Farooq for securing a perfect score of 100 out of 100 in the Urdu subject in the SSLC examination.
Graduating students shared reflections on their 10- and 12-year educational journeys, expressing gratitude to their teachers, classmates, parents, and well-wishers who supported them throughout their academic lives.
A special highlight of the farewell program was the completion of Quran memorization by three students from the high school and college sections. The ceremony was conducted by Maulana Abdul Subhan Nakhda Nadvi, Nayeb Mohtamim of Jamia Zia-ul-Uloom, Rae Bareli. It was noted that a total of 14 students from Ali Public School and College completed Hifz-e-Quran this year.
In his address, Maulana Abdul Subhan Nadvi emphasized the importance of Islamic educational institutions in nurturing a generation that protects and lives by its faith. He stated that Islam grants dignity and honor, and it is the responsibility of believers to spread its light through righteous conduct and service. Addressing the graduating students, he reminded them that farewells are only temporary and encouraged them to promote goodness wherever they go.
Speaking on the occasion, the Founder and General Secretary of Islamic Academy Bhatkal, Maulana Mohammad Ilyas Nadvi, highlighted that Hifz classes were started alongside the establishment of the school, yielding positive results. He shared that over 300 students are currently enrolled in the Hifz department, guided by 22 dedicated male and female Quran teachers. He also remembered the contributions of benefactors of the institution, offering prayers for those who have passed away and for the good health of those still living.
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Mohammad bin Abdul Mateen Akrami, followed by a Naat recited by Mohammad bin Waseem Jubapu. Welcome remarks were delivered by Shams Tabrez, who greeted the graduating students, their guardians, and guests.
Several distinguished scholars and community leaders were present on the stage, including Maulana Maqbool Ahmed Nadvi (President, Ali Public School), Maulana Abdul Aleem Nadvi (Nayeb Mohtamim, Jamia Islamia Bhatkal), Maulana Abdul Mateen Muniri (Member, Shura Jamia Islamia Bhatkal), Nadwatul Ulama teachers Mr. Amjad Nadvi and Mr. Wassaaf Nadvi, trustee Mr. Jan Abdul Rahman, Maulana Farooq Nadvi, and others.
