According to the airline’s official statement, the flight has been rescheduled and is now expected to depart at 1:15 PM. The delay forced passengers to deplane while the technical team worked on resolving the issue.

Akasa Air has taken steps to minimize the inconvenience caused to travelers. Passengers affected by the delay have been given two options: they can either reschedule their journey on an evening flight or cancel their booking entirely.

For those who chose to cancel, the airline has already begun processing full refunds. The company’s ground staff and special Akasa Care Officers are on-site at the airport, providing assistance and support to all affected passengers.

The airline expressed regret over the disruption and assured customers that safety remains their top priority. Technical delays, while frustrating, are necessary to ensure all aircraft meet strict safety standards before takeoff.

Passengers traveling on this route have been advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport.
