Bhatkal: The Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Bhatkal, hosted STEM Fest 2025 today, a one-day science and innovation festival dedicated to Pre-University Science students from across the region. Organized as part of the Anjuman Day celebrations, the fest aimed to spark scientific curiosity and encourage practical learning in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

More than 800 PU Science students from various parts of Karnataka took part, creating a lively environment filled with creativity, experimentation, and collaborative learning.

The inaugural ceremony began at 10:00 AM with Convenor Prof. Shrishail Bhat welcoming the gathering and outlining the vision behind the event.
Mr. Zahid Kharuri, Registrar of AITM, highlighted the importance of connecting classroom concepts with real-world applications.
In his opening remarks, AITM Principal Dr. K. Fazlur Rahman encouraged students to embrace innovation and consider engineering as a field capable of shaping the future.

Chief Guest Mr. Mohammed Ishaque Shabandri, General Secretary of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen (AHM), praised AITM’s efforts in providing a platform that supports scientific thinking among pre-university students. Special addresses were also delivered by Mr. Mohammed Ansar Damda Abu, Secretary of the AITM Board, and Mr. Mohammed Ismail Jukaku, Additional General Secretary of AHM.
The Presidential Address was delivered by Mr. Mohammed Sadique Pilloor, Vice President-I of AHM, followed by the Vote of Thanks from Mr. Nader Ahmed.

The fest featured a range of engaging events — including a Model Expo, Quiz Competition, Start-up Pitch, Puzzle Solving, Robo Race, and more — all of which saw enthusiastic participation from the visiting students.

The day concluded with a Valedictory Ceremony at 4:30 PM, where winners were awarded certificates. Participation certificates were also distributed to all students in recognition of their active involvement.

The management expressed heartfelt appreciation to the students, faculty coordinators, and volunteers whose efforts made STEM Fest 2025 a meaningful and memorable experience for budding science enthusiasts.
